Education Support & Scholarship Program
This program helps students in Tanzania, & Nepal remain in school when they would otherwise be forced to drop out. Tanzanian university medical & nursing students must be able to pay lodging and tuition fees not covered by the government loan to remain in school. We support five medical students to remain in school at Hubert Kairuki Memorial University in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. When a student completes another student is chosen according to urgency by the school so that we support five students on an ongoing basis.
In other education, students who are unable to pay government exam fees are forced to leave school. In Nepal families support boys to remain in school; we have a scholarship program to help girls stay in school.
Gifts to this program assist students to remain in school.
